The dream of bringing IIT Bombay’s alumni together had been floating around since 1962, but the real spark came in 1995. High up in Cape Cod, during the Class of ’75’s 20th reunion, a conversation started around a simple desire to give back to the place that shaped them. Six years later, a small group took action on the premise that good intentions needed a permanent home.
And just like that, the IIT Bombay Alumni Association – or IITBAA – was born.
